Vladimir Putin took part in a ceremony for presenting the all-Russian municipal award Service held as part of the second All-Russian Municipal Forum, Small Homeland – the Strength of Russia.

During the meeting, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief heard a report by Chief of the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defence Valery Gerasimov on the situation along the line of contact and announced that Russia will stop all combat action from 6 pm of April 19 until 12 am, April 21.

The Minister briefed the President on the modernisation of museums and libraries, the development of film studios in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to supply children’s art schools with domestically produced musical instruments, and joint efforts with the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation.
